Bridging Narratives: Youth & Community
Bridging Narratives: Youth and Community is a communities-based education program that brings local artists, culture bearers, and business and community leaders into private and public schools, and  community organizations across Nashville to engage students and members of the community in storytelling, cultural learning, and creative dialogue.

Kulvne Begay is a proud citizen of the Muscogee (Creek), Navajo, and Chickasaw Nations. She recently completed her reign as the 2025 Junior Miss Indian Oklahoma through the Oklahoma Federation of Indian Women. During her year, she traveled across Oklahoma and beyond to represent Native communities, promote cultural pride, and connect with youth through outreach, education, and service.

Today, Kulvne continues to share her culture and experiences by visiting schools and organizations to speak about Native identity, history, and tradition. She enjoys participating in powwows and community events, where she continues learning from elders and peers while strengthening her connection to her heritage.

Through her presentations, Kulvne encourages others — both Native and non-Native — to learn about Indigenous peoples and celebrate the beauty, strength, and resilience of Native cultures.
